Job summary

JLL in Chicago, IL is seeking a multi-disciplinary Event Assistant to support the events team and ensure smooth day-to-day operations of office events, rooms, and services.

You will collaborate with Client Events and Facilities, set up conference spaces, coordinate with external contractors, and conduct quality audits of event spaces while maintaining health and safety standards. Weekend and evening coverage may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in event planning, hospitality, or related field.
• Ability to interact professionally with colleagues and contractors.
• Comfort with multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day office events and ensure smooth operations.
• Set up conference and event spaces and coordinate with external contractors.
• Audit event spaces, furniture, and equipment for quality.
• Collaborate with Client events and Facilities teams to resolve issues.
• Maintain health and safety standards and report SLA gaps.
• Provide timely follow-ups to colleagues and customers via email or tasks.
