Job summary

Fooda is seeking a part-time Events Support team member in Warrenton, MO to assist with on-site setup, teardown, and customer service. You’ll back up cafeteria operations, help coordinate restaurant access, and ensure a smooth guest experience during peak lunch hours.

You should be tech-savvy, energetic, and able to adapt to a fast-paced startup environment. Prior catering or serving experience is strongly preferred, with occasional shifts from 8am to 4pm depending on market needs.

Responsibilities

• Support Fooda events in various capacities: onsite setup/tear-down, cleaning equipment, problem-solving, and ensuring high-quality setup and customer experience.
• Serve as back-up cashier at Fooda Cafés when teammates are unavailable.
• Coordinate getting restaurants onsite and inside the building.
• Troubleshoot POS and onsite technology issues and mobile app coaching.
• Provide real-time onsite customer service to resolve issues.

Who We Are: Our story began in 2011 when a group of office workers at a major logistics company in Chicago had a lunch problem. Nearby options were limited,and the team was spending too much time and money traveling to their favorite restaurants. They had an idea: bring Chicago’s local restaurant culture inside the office to sell food. It was an immediate hit. What You’ll Be Doing

• Support Fooda events in a variety of capacities, including: 1.) being onsite to set-up, tear down, clean equipment and site areas, problem-solve, and ensure high quality set-up and customer experience, 2.) serve as back-up cashier at Fooda Cafés for team members who have time off, and 3.) getting restaurants onsite and access to the building
• Gain competency with Fooda’s technology and standard operations procedures
• Problem-solve for issues such as incorrect orders, late deliveries, late restaurant arrivals, or incorrect email communication
• Troubleshoot technical issues with point-of-sale (POS) system, onsite technology, and TV menu boards
• Conduct onsite Fooda promotions and mobile app coaching
• Provide real-time onsite customer service to resolve issues promptly directly with the consumer
• Facilitate audits of restaurant event set-up to ensure consistency and high quality
• Escalate issues to Operations Manager when necessary to keep them informed or help problem solve
• Critical hours are over lunch Monday- Friday (10am – 2pm) but responsibilities may span 8am-4pm, depending on the market and need

• You are organized and detail oriented. Type-A personality is a plus!
• You’re someone who knows the local territory and gets around efficiently in your own car
• You’re looking for a steady part-time job (about 27.5hours per week) during regular business hours and value flexibility
• Prior catering or serving experience strongly preferred
