Job summary

Fooda is seeking part-time onsite support staff in the United States to help run office lunch programs. You will set up and tear down event spaces, assist with POS systems, and provide excellent customer service during lunch periods. Prior catering or serving experience is preferred, with flexibility to work 5–25 hours per week.

• Customer service experience preferred; ability to interact with customers professionally.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for a fast-paced start-up environment.
• Comfort with technology and quick to learn Fooda’s tech stack and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Support Fooda events onsite: set-up, tear down, cleaning, problem-solving and ensuring high-quality setup and customer experience.
• Master Fooda’s technology and standard operating procedures.
• Resolve issues like incorrect orders, late deliveries, or miscommunication.
• Troubleshoot POS, onsite tech, and TV menu boards as needed.
• Conduct onsite promotions and coach users of the mobile app.
• Provide real-time customer service to resolve issues with consumers.
• Audit restaurant event setup for consistency and quality.
• Escalate issues to Operations Manager when needed.
• Work 5–25 hours per week, primarily during lunch hours; hours may vary by market.

Who We Are:

Our story began in 2011 when a group of office workers at a major logistics company in Chicago had a lunch problem. Nearby options were limited, and the team was spending too much time and money traveling to their favorite restaurants. They had an idea: bring Chicago’s local restaurant culture inside the office to sell food. It was an immediate hit. When they discovered people from other companies sneaking into their office, they knew they were on to something.

Fooda pioneered the concept of rotating popup restaurants inside offices. Today, we operate in 60 cities with over 100 million meals served and continue to grow rapidly.

Powered by technology and a network of 3,500+ restaurants, we feed hungry people at work through a platform of unique food programs located within companies, office buildings, hospitals, schools, distribution centers, and more. What You’ll Be Doing

• Support Fooda events in a variety of capacities, including: being onsite to set-up, tear down, clean equipment and site areas, problem-solve, and ensure high quality set-up and customer experience
• Gain competency with Fooda’s technology and standard operations procedures
• Problem-solve for issues such as incorrect orders, late deliveries, late restaurant arrivals, or incorrect email communication
• Troubleshoot technical issues with point-of-sale (POS) system, onsite technology, and TV menu boards
• Conduct onsite Fooda promotions and mobile app coaching
• Provide real-time onsite customer service to resolve issues promptly directly with the consumer
• Facilitate audits of restaurant event set-up to ensure consistency and high quality
• Escalate issues to Operations Manager when necessary to keep them informed or help problem solve
• Critical hours are over lunch we have 2 positions availableMonday - Friday(10 am – 2 pm)but responsibilities may span 8am-4pm, depending on the market and need

• You are a strong communicator and self-starter
• You are organized and detail oriented. Type-A personality is a plus!
• You’re someone who knows the local territory and gets around efficiently in your own car
• You’re looking for a steady part-time job (between 5 - 25 hours per week) during regular business hours and value flexibility
• Prior catering or serving experience strongly preferred
