Job summary

Fooda is recruiting a part-time Event Coordinator for our Eastvale market to support onsite events, set-up, tear down, and customer service. The role requires hospitality experience, strong communication, and the ability to drive to multiple sites within the North LA area.

15–25 hours per week with regular business hours and room for growth within Fooda. The position offers competitive wages, paid time off, and opportunities to advance in a dynamic startup environment with local restaurant

Qualifications

• Hospitality or events experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Tech-friendly and able to use Fooda's systems.
• Driver with own car and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Support Fooda events in a variety of capacities, including onsite setup and tear down.
• Gain competency with Fooda's technology and SOPs.
• Resolve issues such as incorrect orders or late deliveries.
• Provide real-time onsite customer service to customers.
• Facilitate audits of restaurant event set-up for consistency.

Fooda is currently recruiting for a part time Event Coordinator in our Eastvale market. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with a hospitality or events background who are eager to learn about food service, work with great customers, and support a broad network of excellent local restaurants.

What You'll Be Doing

• Support Fooda events in a variety of capacities, including: being onsite to set-up, tear down, clean equipment and site areas, problem-solve, and ensure high quality set-up and customer experience
• Gain competency with Fooda's technology and standard operations procedures
• Problem-solve for issues such as incorrect orders, late deliveries, late restaurant arrivals, or incorrect email communication
• Provide real-time onsite customer service to resolve issues promptly directly with the consumer
• Facilitate audits of restaurant event set-up to ensure consistency and high quality
• Escalate issues to Operations Manager when necessary to keep them informed or help problem solve
• Critical hours range from Monday - Friday 10am-2pm

• You are savvy with technology and will be comfortable in a fast-paced start-up
• You are resourceful, exhibit grace under pressure, and know you're capable of finding solutions
• You are a strong communicator and self-starter
• You are organized and detail oriented. Type-A personality is a plus!
• You're someone who knows the local territory and gets around efficiently in your own car
• You're looking for a steady part-time job (between 15- 25 hours per week) during regular business hours and value flexibility
• Prior catering or serving experience strongly preferred
• Roaming Coordinator of North LA-most locations North of the 10 freeway
• Must be willing to drive to multiple sites in one day
