Job summary

The Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex (BJCC) seeks an Event Coordinator to assist Event Managers in planning and executing events across venues such as Protective Stadium and Legacy Arena. You may also provide front-of-house support and serve as a point of contact for clients and guests.

The role requires at least one year in hospitality or meetings, a bachelor’s degree is preferred, and a valid Alabama driver license.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year in hospitality, meeting planning, or event coordination.
• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business, or related field preferred.
• Valid Alabama driver’s license.
• Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Event Managers with pre-event planning and on-site coordination.
• Support with event work orders, room setups, and floor plans.
• Coordinate client communications and post-event debriefs.
• Handle front-of-house duties and ensure guest satisfaction.
