Job summary

Fooda is hiring for an on-site event support role that helps set up, manage, and wrap up rotating popup restaurant events inside offices and facilities. You will ensure smooth operations, assist with restaurant access, and coach users of Fooda’s mobile app during events.

Ideal candidates are energetic, customer-focused, and comfortable with technology in a fast-paced startup environment. Prior catering or serving experience is preferred and candidates should be able to work full-time during

Responsibilities

• Onsite setup, teardown, and clean-up; ensure high-quality setup and customer experience.
• Coordinate access for restaurants and onsite teams.
• Learn Fooda’s technology and standard operations procedures.
• Troubleshoot issues with orders, deliveries, or restaurant timing.
• Assist with onsite promotions and app coaching.
• Provide real-time customer service to resolve issues with customers.
• Audit restaurant event setup for consistency and quality.
• Escalate issues to management when needed.

Who We Are:

Our story began in 2011 when a group of office workers at a major logistics company in Chicago had a lunch problem. Nearby options were limited,and the team was spending too much time and money traveling to their favorite restaurants. They had an idea: bring Chicago’s local restaurant culture inside the office to sell food. It was an immediate hit. When they discovered people from other companies sneaking into their office, they knew they were on to something.

Fooda pioneered the concept of rotating popup restaurants inside offices. Today, we operate in 60 cities with over 100 million meals served and continue to grow rapidly.

Powered by technology and a network of 3,500+ restaurants, we feed hungry people at work through a platform of unique food programs located within companies, office buildings, hospitals, schools, distribution centers, and more. What You’ll Be Doing

• Support Fooda events in a variety of capacities, including: 1.) being onsite to set-up, tear down, clean equipment and site areas, problem-solve, and ensure high quality set-up and customer experience, 2.) getting restaurants onsite and access to the building
• Gain competency with Fooda’s technology and standard operations procedures
• Problem-solve for issues such as incorrect orders, late deliveries, late restaurant arrivals, or incorrect email communication
• Troubleshoot technical issues with point-of-sale (POS) system, onsite technology, and TV menu boards
• Conduct onsite Fooda promotions and mobile app coaching
• Provide real-time onsite customer service to resolve issues promptly directly with the consumer
• Facilitate audits of restaurant event set-up to ensure consistency and high quality
• Escalate issues to Manager when necessary to keep them informed or help problem solve

• Prior catering or serving experience strongly preferred
