Job summary

Main Event Entertainment in Greensboro, NC seeks a Sales Event Coordinator to help guests plan birthday and corporate events, delivering a tailored and memorable experience. You will sell, schedule, and coordinate events, input sales data, and work with the Sales Manager to exceed targets while developing new and repeat business.

Responsibilities include prospecting, coordinating with teammates, and supporting marketing efforts, with a focus on guest satisfaction, teamwork, and growth

Qualifications

• Prior sales experience; food & beverage or retail experience is a plus.
• Guest-focused mindset and excellent customer service.
• Teamwork is essential to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong relationship-building and communication with guests and management.
• Proficient with Excel, Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
• Able to communicate effectively with management, team members and guests.
• Availability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Understand all event packages and add-ons to upsell effectively.
• Sell, schedule, and coordinate corporate, group, and birthday events.
• Input sales revenue and guest data in systems; create follow-up tasks.
• Partner with Sales Manager to exceed targets and achieve plans.
• Prospect and cold call to develop new and repeat business.
• Support local store marketing to drive walk-ins and event sales.
• Attend weekly sales meetings and share strategic ideas.
• Perform opening, mid-day, or closing duties, maintaining cleanliness and safety.
