What this job involves –

This position involves supporting the Site and/or Assistant Facility Managers and Events Manager in coordinating and managing events, vendor oversight, and equipment and supplies. The role requires exceptional communication skills, customer service orientation, and the ability to manage multiple events across various locations. The Events Coordinator will be responsible for the full lifecycle of events, from planning to execution, while maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring financial efficiency.

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

  • Overseeing the full lifecycle of events, from inception to implementation
  • Managing an events program and calendar for up to 65 events per week across multiple buildings
  • Coordinating activities of onsite meeting and events team, including event setups
  • Collaborating with internal and external service providers for event execution
  • Designing and implementing engaging events for a large client population
  • Leading post-event evaluation processes and implementing improvements
  • Maintaining and updating the Events Playbook regularly
  • Managing client relationships and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction

Desired experience and technical skills:

Required:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Facilities, Property, Business, or related field
  • 1+ years of experience in events, facilities/property management, hospitality, or related field
  • Proficiency in various information technology tools and platforms
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and presentation skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Self-motivation and ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred:

  • Experience in managing large-scale events across multiple locations
  • Knowledge of financial management and budgeting in event planning
  • Familiarity with vendor management and contract negotiation
  • Experience with post-event evaluation and improvement processes
  • Proficiency in event-specific software or management tools

Estimated total compensation for this position:

58,312.00 – 72,891.00 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
