Event Coordinator

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Compensation: $17.00 - $24.00 / hour

Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive individual to manage customer inquiries, process orders and payments, and ensure appropriate service levels. This role involves communicating with event producers, conducting sales meetings, and coordinating event labor with management. The ideal candidate will track revenue goals and collaborate with various teams to achieve success in an ever-changing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accept incoming phone calls and emails and triage to determine next steps
  • Determine service levels needed based on use
  • Take customer orders by phone
  • Follow up on customer inquiries at earliest convenience
  • Adhere to NetSteady's 6-week event marketing program
  • Provide all event producers with appropriate marketing literature for use at their events
  • Conduct in-person and virtual meetings with event producers and potential customers
  • Contact previous year's customers with opportunities to reorder services
  • Visit all orders that meet our minimum revenue levels to ensure acceptable service delivery
  • Able to review a calendar of events for the facility and cross-reference it with the order load to ensure appropriate staffing as needed
  • Host weekly meetings with facility techs/engineers to discuss upcoming events
  • Attend regular operations meetings with facility management
  • Review revenue reports with Finance Administrator to determine facility commissions
  • Achieve overall revenue goals and match or beat previous year's revenue
  • Other duties as assigned
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Customer service experience required
  • Project management experience desired
  • Technical/help desk experience desired
  • Previous leadership/supervisory experience desired
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks desired
  • Reliable transportation required
  • Associate's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
