This is a 50% time (20 hours per week, totaling 260 hours for the summer semester from 5/26/25 to 8/24/25) Research Specialist position.
The Hennepin-University Partnership (HUP) Research Specialist will collaborate with the Program Director and Senior Project Manager to implement strategies outlined in HUP’s 2025 Communications Plan.
HUP fosters collaboration between local government and academia to create shared value through community-based research, expertise sharing, and student opportunities. The HUP Office facilitates, supports, and evaluates these collaborations. More info at www.hup.umn.edu.
CURA is an applied research center connecting faculty and students with community organizations to address urban and regional issues. Students work as graduate research assistants under community supervision.
Hourly rate: $27.00, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Retirement options available.
