Job summary

Compass Group USA’s ESFM division seeks a Conference Services Attendant (Part Time) at SAP, 135 Townsend Street, San Francisco. You’ll support meetings by preparing rooms and assisting clients and guests, with some evenings required.

The role requires superb customer service and strong attention to detail, plus ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment. MS Office proficiency is expected.

Qualifications

• Superb customer service, hospitality, and fast-paced events experience required.
• Must be punctual, a team player, and have attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Move and arrange tables, chairs, and linens for each event.
• Set up items not included in the room (flipcharts, whiteboard, screens).
• Ensure rooms are ready with pens, pads, handouts, and event packages.
• Provide prompt and detailed service as scheduled by management or on request.
• Maintain phone and email communication with clients, guests, and team members.
• Assist clients and visitors and escort to conference rooms.
• Communicate with co-workers and partners to share information.
