Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking an experienced Event Center General Manager for the Black Rock Mountain Resort in Utah. You will lead day‑to‑day operations of a multi‑purpose event venue, coordinating with Resort leadership to deliver exceptional guest experiences and maximize event profitability.

You will oversee staffing, budgeting, and the execution of diverse events from public shows to private gatherings, while ensuring safety, compliance, and alignment with the Resort’s strategic

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in event venue operations, arena operations, or comparable multi‑purpose facilities.
• Experience coordinating complex events (public, private, sporting, trade shows, conventions, exhibitions, catered events).
• Knowledge of arena operations, facility maintenance, event staffing, F&B operations, security, parking, ticketing, and guest service standards.
• Experience leading commercial strategy, sales, marketing, revenue management and community engagement.
• Strong financial acumen: budgets, forecasts, labor, costs, and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operation of the Event Center, including arena operations, maintenance, housekeeping, ice operations, event support, box office, concessions, security, and guest services.
• Coordinate Event Center operations with Resort leadership to support stand-alone performance and hotel activities.
• Oversee sales, marketing, and booking efforts; contribute to annual sales and marketing plans.
• Plan event execution: staffing, security, parking, F&B, ticketing, vendor coordination, and event-day plans.
• Manage financial performance: revenues, expenses, labor, shared services, and adherence to budgets.
