Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality's Black Rock Mountain Resort in Heber City, Utah, is seeking an Event Center General Manager to lead the day-to-day operations, ensure outstanding guest experiences, and align venue performance with resort goals.

The role oversees ice-related programming, public and private events, and collaborations with Resort leadership, hockey tenants, sponsors, and vendors to maximize event profitability.

Qualifications

• Experience leading event venue operations and hospitality teams.
• Proven ability to manage complex events and bookings.
• Knowledge of arena operations and guest service standards.
• Experience with ice-related operations preferred.
• Ability to grow venue rentals and profitability via sales/marketing.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day Event Center operations and staffing.
• Coordinate with Resort leadership for integrated operations.
• Oversee sales, marketing, and bookings plans.
• Plan event execution including security, parking, and concessions.
• Monitor financial performance and budget adherence.
• Develop emergency procedures and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with partners, vendors, and authorities.
