Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality in Utah is seeking a Senior Sales Manager to lead group business development for the Black Rock Mountain Resort in Heber City. You’ll identify, solicit, and manage group opportunities, driving revenue and delivering exceptional client service from first contact to final execution.

The role requires 5+ years in hotel/resort group sales, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Delphi, CVENT, and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 5 years in hotel/resort group sales with proven closing ability.
• Proficient in Delphi, CVENT, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong verbal and written communication; able to persuade.
• Ability to interpret data, spot trends, and drive results.
• Self-starter who works well independently and in a team.
• Willingness to attend events outside regular hours.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to all assigned leads to ensure timely engagement and conversion.
• Drive results through persistent follow-up, client engagement, and contract negotiation with integrity.
• Prospect new business via outbound sales calls, direct outreach, and market research in assigned verticals.
• Cultivate relationships with new and existing accounts to increase loyalty, repeat business, and referrals.
• Prepare contracts & proposals in line with Pyramid Global Hospitality standards.
• Conduct creative site inspections to impress and inspire confidence in potential clients.
• Attend industry events such as trade shows and association meetings to promote our property and connect with meeting planners.
• Collaborate internally with operational teams to ensure seamless execution of group events.
• Monitor trends and stay informed on market shifts to adjust strategies and remain competitive.
• Manage your pipeline to track leads, tentatives, and booked business accurately.
• Meet and exceed sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
