Job summary

Dua Miami is seeking a Convention Services Manager to lead catering and convention sales, build relationships with clients, and drive revenue while ensuring memorable events at a premier Autograph Collection hotel in Miami. You’ll work with leadership to hit goals and coordinate banquet details to elevate guest experiences.

The role emphasizes creativity, market awareness, and teamwork, delivering flawless event orders and adapting to changing needs in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; convention/event and catering sales experience preferred.
• Creativity and knowledge of food and beverage/events; professional selling skills desired.
• Valid driver's license required for the applicable state.
• Strong verbal and written communication to negotiate and influence clients.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer use; manage multiple tasks independently.

Responsibilities

• Knock meeting planner goals and food & beverage sales out of the park while keeping guests smiling.
• Build relationships with clients, take them on property adventures, and participate in local happenings—making every event unforgettable.
• Stay ahead by tracking market trends and always bringing fresh ideas to the table.
