Job summary

Hyatt Regency Miami is seeking an Event Sales Manager to drive selling and servicing of events at our downtown hotel. The role includes handling Banquet Food & Beverage, menu planning, agenda setting, and coordinating with hotel staff to ensure flawless event execution.

You will review contracts, lead event meetings, and maintain strong client relationships while collaborating with Sales and Events teams to maximize revenue and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
• Refined verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be proficient in general computer knowledge.
• Candidates should be extremely detail-oriented and organized.
• Prefer two years of hotel experience or a completed Event Management trainee program.

Responsibilities

• Sell and service events, focusing on Banquet Food & Beverage.
• Participate in menu planning, agenda setting, and hotel meeting services.
• Review contracts and facilitate communication before, during, and after events.
• Host hotel tours, maintain customer relationships, and lead meetings with staff.
