Job summary

Trolley Hospitality Companies, via its Groovin' Gourmets catering division, is seeking a part-time Sales Event Coordinator to support corporate functions, weddings, and social events in the Hampton Roads area. You will lead event teams, ensure seamless service, and maintain strong client communication to deliver happiness for guests and hosts.

The role involves hands-on event setup, transportation of materials, and managing shifts that can include nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Provides excellent customer service and builds rapport with guests.
• Able to handle multiple problems calmly and pivot to urgent tasks.
• Detail-oriented and organized to keep schedules running smoothly.
• Experience leading teams in events or food service.
• Willingness to work nights and weekends, with flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport food, drinks, and equipment to event venues.
• Manage all aspects of the event setup, service, and takedown.
• Lead a team of co-captains, servers, and bartenders during events.
• Maintain clear communication with the event host and adapt service flow as needed.
• Create an environment that develops team members and supports colleagues.
