Legends Global is seeking an Event Manager in Hampton, VA to coordinate and support professional event services at the Hampton Roads Convention Center. You will liaise with clients, vendors and HRCC staff to ensure events meet requirements, stay within budgets, and comply with safety and fire codes.

The role requires 1–2 years of relevant experience, a bachelor's degree, and strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four‑year college or university.
• One to two years related experience and/or training.
• Working knowledge of facility management, services and equipment for a similar facility.
• Excellent organizational, planning and interpersonal skills.
• Good written and verbal skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and provide professional client services support in planning, organization, and supervision of events.
• Conduct pre-event meetings with clients and vendors and advise on set-up options and expenses.
• Prepare detailed work orders, floor plans, staffing, schedules and instructions using industry software.
• Maintain up-to-date event information and communicate changes to staff and clients.
• Prepare event cost estimates and monitor final billing.
• Act as liaison between clients and staff to ensure successful events and compliance with safety standards.
• Attend planning meetings and oversee events, addressing client requests and concerns.
• Rotate as Manager on Duty and work extended hours as needed.
• Create and distribute post-event synopses to staff.
