Azul Hospitality at Le Meridien Element Salt Lake City Downtown is seeking a temporary banquet server to deliver food and beverages during events, assist with setup, and uphold service standards.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of high-volume banquet experience, a high school diploma, and Safe Server Alcohol & Food certification. Must be 21+ to serve alcohol; hotel/resort banquet experience preferred. On-site position in Salt Lake City, UT with hourly pay and service charge.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 1–3 years of high-volume banquet service experience required.
• Must be 21+ to serve alcohol; Safe Server Alcohol & Food certification required.
• Hotel/resort banquet experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serves guests food and drinks during events as required.
• Can answer questions related to buffet or menu.
• Bus and set tables, including condiments as needed.
• Assists with event room set-up (set tablecloths, dishes, silverware as needed).
• Checks all china, glassware, silverware, and linen items needed for the event.
• Reads all assigned banquet menus and asks if specific items are unclear.
• Ensures food is served at the appropriate temperature and that the entrée is placed properly on the table.
• Responsible for the proper handling of all equipment (china, glassware, silverware, linen, and props) and ensures proper storage after use.
• Participates in the deep cleaning of the outlet.
• Assists all guests professionally and courteously with the highest quality of standards for customer service.
• All other duties assigned by manager or supervisor.
