Job summary

Azul Hospitality is seeking a capable Banquet Server to deliver food and beverage service at events in a fast-paced hotel environment. You will assist with room setup, table settings, and ensuring guest satisfaction through excellent service and product knowledge.

The role requires 1–3 years of high-volume banquet experience, a 21+ age requirement to serve alcohol, and Safe Server certification. You will work closely with the events team to execute functions from setup to breakdown.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of high-volume banquet service experience required; hotel/resort banquet experience preferred.
• Must be at least 21 to serve alcohol; Safe Server Alcohol & Food certification required.
• Strong communication and customer relations skills; ability to lead and resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Serve guests food and drinks during events.
• Assist with event room setup and table arrangements.
• Answer guest questions regarding buffet or menu items.
• Set tables with condiments and service ware as needed.
• Ensure food is served at proper temperatures and presented well.
• Handle equipment safely and store properly after use.
• Participate in deep cleaning of the outlet.
• Provide courteous, professional guest service and assist other staff as needed.
