Onni is seeking a Banquet Server in Chicago to deliver exceptional guest experiences at events. You will warmly greet guests, follow service sequences, and maintain strong guest relations while working closely with teammates to ensure smooth operations.

The role requires at least 2 years of event service experience and a High School Diploma or GED. A friendly, multitasking mindset and focus on safety are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing events in a fast-paced restaurant or event space.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet and acknowledge guests upon arrival.
• Follow established service sequence for consistent food and beverage experiences according to the BEO.
• Maintain positive guest relations at all times.
• Collaborate with team and communicate needs to management.
• Clean and reset tables and transport dirty dishes.
• Move chairs, tables, highchairs and booster seats safely.
• Safely operate all necessary tools and equipment.
• Communicate effectively to follow job requirements in written and spoken directions.
• Multitask calmly in a busy environment.
• Work in a confined, noisy, variable space while maintaining safety and sanitation policies.
• Check guest identifications for age compliance.
• Perform side work as needed.
• Keep server station clean and organized.
