Job summary

Savour Hospitality Group is seeking a Banquet Server to support banquet teams and ensure an exceptional guest experience at events in Cleveland, OH. The role covers setup, service, and post-event breakdown, with a focus on guest satisfaction and adherence to safety policies.

Required is at least 2 years of related experience, strong communication, and the ability to work independently or with a team in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility for various shifts is expected.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of related experience required.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently (and in a team).

Responsibilities

• Prepare coffee breaks, carts, and stations with appropriate food and beverages as stated in Banquet Event Order.
• Prepare tables, action stations, buffets, service carts, dessert table/carts and cordial carts.
• Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen.
• Ensure courses are cleared and tables are properly crumbed.
• Respond to and try to fulfill any special banquet event arrangements.
• Replenish buffet items to ensure consistency and freshness in presentation.
• Monitor tableware to ensure it is presentable to guests.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned station and service areas.
• Bus tables by removing and separating tableware, plateware, glassware, and flatware.
• Assist other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests.
