Job summary

Valor Hospitality Partners is seeking a Banquet Supervisor to lead banquet staff, ensuring service excellence and flawless event execution at our properties. You will oversee setup, guest interactions and post-event wrap-up, while maintaining safety and standards across all banquet functions.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, strong English skills, physical stamina for long shifts, and the ability to lift 20–40 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Able to read, speak and understand English.
• Able to lift, push, carry 20 - 40 lbs.
• Stand continuously for long periods of time.
• Communicate information and hotel services to management, staff and guests.

Responsibilities

• Check BEOs to ensure information is accurate.
• Check room set-up and ensure public areas are neat and clean.
• Coordinate with group representatives and explain how to contact during the function.
• Ensure F&B items are presented and served per standards and note special requests.
• Maintain constant communication between Culinary Department and Banquet Team during events.
• Compile checks from the Banquet Event Order and present to clients for signature.
• Complete paperwork including Captain’s Consumption Sheets and Captain’s Report.
• Ensure staff return equipment and area is left clean and tidy.
• Assign duties and manage staff and sign-in sheets for events.
• Prepare area for function prior to guest arrival.
• Recap banquet checks at end of day and hand to Night Audit.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by Supervisors/Managers.
