Job summary

Encore is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hotel/conference venue in Maryland. You will ensure flawless events, troubleshoot issues, and engage with clients on site to verify equipment performance.

The role requires a High School Diploma (Associate’s degree preferred), hospitality or customer service experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. On-site work with flexible hours and potential on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for team members that may operate Company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and breakdown basic audiovisual equipment as required.
• Exceed expectations of internal and external customers and maintain client relationships.
• Troubleshoot equipment and software issues and address challenges promptly.
• Complete order entries in Navigator and interact with staff/vendors for equipment needs.
