Job summary

Encore Global in Abilene, TX is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hospitality environment. You will ensure customer satisfaction by accurate setup, operation, and breakdown of equipment, and you’ll work with clients on site to confirm everything is functioning properly.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, basic troubleshooting of equipment and software, and adherence to hotel and client processes.

Qualifications

High School Diploma required; Associate's degree preferred.
1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in educational environment preferred.
Valid driver's license required for team members who may operate company vehicles.
Additional DOT requirements may apply where applicable.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate basic audiovisual equipment as listed in qualifications.
Provide excellent customer service and maintain client relationships on site.
Troubleshoot basic equipment and software issues in a timely, professional manner.
Record orders and complete paperwork accurately per company procedures.
Work with clients to ensure invoices and equipment are correctly documented.
