Job summary

Encore Global is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hotel environment. You will work with guests on-site to ensure equipment functions properly and events run smoothly.

The role requires strong customer service, hospitality awareness, and basic technical troubleshooting. A valid driver’s license and physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required. Associate’s degree preferred.
• Internal applicants must meet/complete training and certification requirements per Encore’s Global Learning Training Program.
• External applicants must meet/validate and complete all training and certifications required for this position within one year.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for team members that may operate Company vehicles.
• Additional DOT requirements may need to be met if applicable.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and breakdown basic audiovisual equipment to ensure flawless events.
• Exceed client expectations and maintain positive relationships with guests and clients.
• Troubleshoot equipment and software issues and resolve problems promptly.
• Complete order entries in Navigator and interact with vendors and staff as needed.
