Job summary

Encore Global in Arlington, TX is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in hospitality environments, ensuring events run smoothly and guests are satisfied.

You will work on-site with hotel staff and outside vendors, troubleshoot equipment, and manage timely breakdowns. A HS diploma is required; an Associate’s degree is preferred, with 1 year of customer service or AV experience valued. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• Must complete training and certifications within 60 days.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required; DOT may apply if applicable.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and break down basic audiovisual equipment.
• Exceed expectations and maintain client relationships on site.
• Meet with guests on site to ensure equipment works properly.
• Monitor events and assist with invoicing and vendor coordination.
• Use Navigator for order entries and floor up-selling to increase revenue.
