Job summary

Michaels Store in Wooster, OH is looking for a friendly team member to assist customers and operate the register. You will help shoppers find products and ensure a quick, courteous checkout experience.

Team members participate in truck unloading, stocking, and merchandising, while supporting rewards enrollments, BOPIS/SFS processes, and safety policies. A positive attitude and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least 16 years old and eligible to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; handle cash to standards.
• Engage customers in rewards programs and enrollments.
• Educate customers on VOC surveys.
• Assist with Omni-channel processes (BOPIS, SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes.
• Maintain stock and recover merchandise; complete go-back and return processes.
• Support Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties.
• Support shrink and safety programs; follow SOPs and company policies.
• Interact professionally with customers and fellow team members; promote company values.
• Cross-train in Custom Framing selling and production.
