Children And Families First Delaware Inc in Seaford, DE is seeking a Part-time Residential Counselor to supervise residents and guide daily routines using the program's Behavioral Modification practices. You will counsel residents in living skills, self-care, and crisis intervention as needed, including passive restraint where appropriate.

The role involves monitoring homework time, coordinating meals, documenting performance, and supporting activities like recreational therapy.

Competenze

• Associate’s Degree in Human Services or related field is preferred; equivalency will be considered.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Ability to respond appropriately to cultural differences.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must complete at least 40 hours of annual training including CPR, First Aid, Passive Physical Restraint and Crisis Control Techniques.
• Previous counseling experience, preferably with adolescents.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and accurately.
