Delaware LLC is seeking a Youth Care Specialist to oversee and supervise youth in our care, modeling behavior modification and helping youths build social skills. You will supervise community trips to practice life skills and support youths in returning to their communities.

You will also write daily reports, monthly summaries, and other records related to youth progress, and assist youths with daily medications as part of treatment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Knowledge of behavior management and modification.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsabilités

• Oversees daily activities of youth including recreation, education, meals, hygiene, and living quarters.
• Observes youth behavior and reports observations to staff daily.
• Establishes and maintains relationships to support social adjustment.
• Interprets facility procedures and disciplinary policies to youths.
• Performs security checks and monitors high-risk youths during visits.
• Assists in transporting youths to activities and appointments.
