Job summary

Pace Analytical Services is seeking a Scientist for our Wet Chemistry department to analyze environmental samples and ensure data quality in our laboratory. Join a team dedicated to safer, healthier communities and a mission-driven work environment.

In this role you will perform hands-on analysis, document results, review data, and help maintain instruments while adhering to PPE and safety guidelines. A bachelor’s degree in chemistry-related fields is required with company-provided training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or STEM field; training provided.
• Ability to work in a laboratory environment, standing for extended periods, and using PPE.

Responsibilities

• Analyze environmental samples using established chemistry and biochemistry methods looking for environmental contaminants.
• Review and interpret the results from the sample analysis.
• Accurately document procedures, observations, and results to maintain high-quality laboratory records.
• Clean, maintain, and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment.
