Job summary

Pace® is seeking a Scientist I to join the wet chemistry team in our environmental testing laboratory. You will perform and oversee projects analyzing air, water and soil samples, following standard chemistry and biochemistry policies.

You will clean, calibrate instruments, maintain documentation, and ensure data quality. A Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry is required, with ability to work in a lab and wear PPE. Pace offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities to grow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry/ Biochemistry or a closely related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Ability to perform work in a lab or office setting, remain standing for long periods while conducting tests, work around strong smells, and wear PPE.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and support the analysis, administration and oversight of air, water and soil samples using standard chemistry/ biochemistry policies, programs, and practices.
• Clean, maintain and calibrate instruments.
• Maintain detailed and organized documentation on all laboratory work.
