Job summary

B&B Theatres in Grain Valley, MO is seeking a part-time Theatre Staff member to engage guests, manage concessions and ticketing, and help maintain a clean, safe environment. Evening, weekend, and holiday shifts are required to support moviegoers across busy periods.

Responsibilities include greetings, sales, food preparation, and collaborative teamwork to create magical guest experiences consistent with our values of family, fun and integrity.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old at hire.
• Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service.
• Positive and enthusiastic attitude.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Willing to obtain R-Serving, Food Handler, and/or Food Manager certifications; employer pays for certifications.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests in a professional, friendly manner.
• Operate point-of-sale systems for ticketing, concessions, or merchandise.
• Prepare and serve concession items; follow safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of theatres, lobbies, restrooms, and concession areas.
• Monitor auditorium conditions for guest safety and comfort.
• Assist with ushering duties, including ticket scanning and guiding guests to seats.
• Support opening and closing procedures, including restocking and securing cash.
• Collaborate with team to provide excellent guest service.
