Job summary

Unitek Learning is seeking a full-time nursing instructor for its LVN program, teaching on the evening shift. No prior teaching experience is required.

The role involves improving instructional quality, integrating online activities, revising syllabi, maintaining student records, and mentoring students in classroom, lab, and clinical settings while staying current with nursing practice and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse with current licensure in the state where you will teach.
• 3 years bedside experience with RN/BSN OR 6 years bedside experience with LVN/Associates Degree.
• Preferred: current immunizations and Basic Life Support Certification or ACLS.

Responsibilities

• Teach LVN courses and clinical rotations on evenings and potentially other times.
• Review and revise syllabus; submit program reports to the Director on time.
• Use online activities to enhance course content and stay current with technology and safety regulations.
• Maintain student attendance, grades, and skills check-offs; assist with data collection and clinical requirements.
