Unitek Learning is seeking a full-time nursing instructor for its LVN program in California. The role runs Monday–Friday with no prior teaching experience required, but a minimum of 3 years of bedside experience as LVN/RN and current California licensure is essential.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse or LVN with current California licensure.
• Meets faculty requirements set by the Board of Vocational Nursing.
• Current immunizations and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to mentor students in classroom, lab and clinical settings.

Responsibilities

• Teach LVN program courses and clinical rotations (days/evenings/weekends as needed).
• Review and update syllabi; maintain student records and CE hours.
• Utilize innovative teaching methods and online activities.
• Participate in program reporting and committee activities.
