Job summary

Unitek Learning is seeking a Nursing Instructor to teach in the LVN program as a part-time position. Evening shifts and Saturday clinicals are required, with evenings on Tuesdays and Thursdays 5:30pm-11pm and Saturdays 7am-7pm.

Qualifications

• RN or LVN with current state licensure where teaching will occur.
• BSN or higher required per state regulations.
• Meet faculty requirements set by Board of Vocational Nursing.
• Experience mentoring students in classroom, lab and clinical settings.
• Current immunizations and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Improve instruction quality by reviewing and using innovative teaching methods.
• Utilize online activities to enhance courses.
• Review and revise syllabi with program guidelines.
• Submit program reports to the Director in a timely manner.
• Stay current with nursing standards and safety regulations.
• Maintain student records and program data.
• Update and maintain clinical eligibility documents.
• Teach courses and clinical rotations as needed.
• Participate in professional development and CE hours.
