Job summary

Amivie, LLC is seeking Direct Support Professionals to provide direct care and skill-building support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental health needs, or substance use concerns. You will help with daily living activities, transport, and community participation while documenting in the health record.

Responsibilities include maintaining HIPAA compliance, professional boundaries, and mandatory reporting.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old.
High School Diploma or GED (General Equivalency Diploma).
Valid driver’s license in good standing.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must successfully complete all background checks.
Must successfully complete health screening (TB screening).

Responsibilities

Assist individuals with goal completion as documented in the individualized support plan.
Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) based on individual needs.
Safely transport individuals in company or personally owned vehicles.
Accompany individuals to community integration activities.
Complete all required documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) timely.
Actively engage with individuals in their home and community while upholding rights.
Ensure confidentiality and privacy of individual information; adhere to HIPAA.
Establish professional boundaries and maintain ethical interactions.
Report any suspicion of abuse, neglect, or exploitation as required by law.
