Job summary

Amivie, LLC is seeking a DSP to provide direct care and support to individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities and mental health needs. You will assist with ADLs, document care in the EHR, and adhere to HIPAA and company policies.

Responsibilities include goal‑oriented activities, medication administration after training, safe transportation, and maintaining professional boundaries while fostering independence and community integration.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license in good standing.
• Reliable transportation.
• Must successfully complete all background checks.
• Must successfully complete health screening (TB) as required by state/program.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with goal completion per individualized support plan.
• Help with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and meals.
• Safely transport individuals in company or personal vehicles.
• Accompany individuals to community activities and appointments.
• Complete required documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) timely.
• Engage with individuals in home and community while upholding rights and confidentiality.
