Job summary

Amivie, LLC is seeking a Part-time Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and related health needs. The role runs 2 pm to 6 pm, Monday through Friday, delivering direct care, skill-building activities, and ADL support.

Responsibilities include documentation in the EHR, safe transportation, community engagement, and upholding privacy and rights.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license in good standing and reliable transportation.
• Must pass background checks and health TB screening.
• Ability to administer prescribed medications after training.
• Proficiency with technology and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with goals per the individualized support plan.
• Provide ADL assistance (bathing, grooming, eating, etc.).
• Safely transport Individuals in company or personal vehicles.
• Accompany Individuals to community activities.
• Complete documentation in the EHR timely.
• Engage with Individuals in home and community; uphold rights and HIPAA.
• Adhere to policies; maintain professional boundaries.
• DSPs are mandated reporters; report abuse/neglect/exploitation.
• Administer prescribed medications after training.
• Remain awake and alert for shifts and handle physical tasks.
