Job summary

Kraft Kennedy's Support Practice Group seeks a Desktop Support Technician for 2nd shift (Friday–Monday) in the United States. The role is part-time with 24 hours per week and hourly pay of $30.00–$35.00.

Remote support to nationwide clients, onsite work as needed, and collaboration with senior staff define the work environment. The position requires a IT-related Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of experience, strong customer service, and solid troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in IT or related field or minimum of 3 years of related work experience in lieu of a degree.
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Very organized and detail oriented, with a high degree of accuracy and follow up
• Strong problem solving and technical troubleshooting skills
• Experience supporting environments with Windows Server and Exchange infrastructure is preferred
• Experience with server and network administration, software deployment and MS office. Document management experience preferred but not mandatory
• Some combined industry experience with Windows desktops
• Virtualization and storage experience strongly preferred
• MCSE and/or related technical certifications are strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide remote support to geographically diverse nationwide clients using remote connections, ticketing system, and monitoring tools
• Provide on-site assistance to clients on an as needed basis
• Assist end users and IT staff with a broad range of issues including servers, virtualization, SAN, networking, and security
• Escalate issues and coordinate with vendors and team members to resolve complex client issues
• Initiate Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for complex issues
• Contribute to internal projects to grow the Support Practice Group
• Provide regional on-site client support as necessary
