Job summary

Georgia Piedmont Technical College is seeking an Evening Coordinator to oversee evening instructional operations, scheduling, and faculty coordination across campuses and buildings.

The role supports student retention, articulation, and community outreach while ensuring smooth operations during evenings and on Saturdays. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited institution.
• At least three years of experience in a higher education setting or a similar environment.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership abilities with experience directing the work of others.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Flexibility to work evenings and Saturdays as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic coordination and administrative oversight for evening instructional operations across assigned campuses and buildings.
• Develop, maintain, and distribute accurate classroom and building door schedules for all classes and instructional activities.
• Prescreen prospective adjunct instructors to confirm minimum education, credential, and experience requirements.
• Coordinate faculty interviews, schedule candidates, assemble interview panels, and maintain required hiring documentation.
• Prepare, submit, and track Requests to Hire and Requests to Advertise for new postings with academic leadership and HR.
• Prepare and review Faculty Qualification Forms and supporting credential documentation for accuracy and timely approval.
• Coordinate student-retention initiatives and proactive outreach to students at risk of stopping out or withdrawing.
