Job summary

Performance Food Group is hiring for a warehouse order selector at their Rice, MN facility. The role involves selecting cases and food/non-food items from multi-level racks, loading pallets with an electric pallet jack/forklift, and preparing orders for shipment while following safety regulations.

Typical shift runs 5:00 PM until completion, four nights out of six (Sun-Fri, no Saturdays). Training pays $21.00/hour with an average of $23.55/hour after training, with competitive benefits starting

Qualifications

• Must be able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime for the position.
• Able to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
• Able to lift and stack product between 10-35 pounds and up to 80 pounds occasionally throughout shift.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments, i.e. cooler, freezer and dry.
• Pass pre-employment drug test.
• Ability to become EPJ certified within the new-hire training period.
• Ability to complete required training independently.

Responsibilities

• Follow all preferred work methods, safety policies and procedures per company guidelines.
• Review work schedule, obtain supplies required to perform the work and prepare for operations.
• Meet required productivity and accuracy standards per location and company guidelines.
• Place pallets on pallet jack and operate along assigned multi-level racks and locate products according to order sheets.
• Transport completed palletized customer order to shipping dock staging area.
• Remove batteries requiring recharging, replace with charged batteries, and complete vehicle inspection checklist.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
