Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Warehouse Selector in Cedar Rapids to fill customer orders from multi-level racks, loading pallets with a pallet jack or forklift and preparing shipments safely and accurately.

Night shift is Sunday through Thursday, 6:00 PM to finish, with shifts averaging 8–10 hours. Candidates must be able to lift 10–100 lbs, pass a post-offer drug test and background check, and obtain EPJ certification during training.

Qualifications

• Ability to work scheduled/assigned shifts, including required overtime.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift 10-35 lbs regularly and up to approximately 60-100 lbs (location dependent).
• Ability to pass a post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Ability to become EPJ certified within the new-hire training period.
• Ability to complete required training independently.
• 6+ months warehouse selector experience.
• Steady work history.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety policies and procedures; keep work area safe and report hazards.
• Review schedule, obtain supplies, perform safety checks on equipment.
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards per location and guidelines.
• Place pallets on pallet jack and operate along multi-level racks to locate products.
• Manually place stock items on pallets from pick slots and racks.
• Transport completed palletized orders to shipping dock; shrink-wrap if needed.
• Complete paperwork and secure equipment at shift end.
