Job summary

Schneider Electric Corp in Lincoln, NE is seeking a 2nd Shift Warehouse and Logistics Supervisor to lead end-to-end supply chain operations, including warehouse, planning, and continuous improvements.

You will manage operators, optimize workload, enforce safety and quality standards, and collaborate with planning teams to drive cost efficiency and on-time performance in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, or related field.
• 3+ years experience in warehouse management and shipping & receiving.
• Experience leading cycle counting process preferred.
• Inventory management, receiving, shipping experience preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• SAP experience a plus.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment a plus.
• Previous Lean Manufacturing a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to lead a team.

Responsibilities

• Hierarchical management of operators including performance, development, engagement, discipline, etc.
• Assign jobs based on demand and priorities.
• Enforce safety rules throughout the sector.
• Report and manage incidents.
• Ensure quality system compliance to meet required quality level.
• Optimize daily and weekly workload and resources.
• Train and adjust Material Handler programs to customer priorities.
• Manage logistics process: receiving, stocking, picking, material handling, shipping finished goods and wastes.
• Lead cycle counting across facility.
• Lead employee meetings to communicate goals.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain Planning Central team and deploy best practices.
• Ensure accurate inventories with permanent alignment between operations and inventory.
• Manage yearly appraisal of hourly employees.
• Monitor and analyze logistic costs.
