Job summary

Staples is hiring a Warehouse Associate in Orlando for a climate-controlled facility. You may operate forklifts, pallet jacks, cherry pickers, and other equipment across six areas: Bulk/Material Handling, Porter, Replenishment, Receiving/Putaway/Returns, Returns, and Shipping.

Move products up to 100 lbs and adhere to safety procedures. You'll join a world-class supply chain team with shifts 6:00pm–12:00am Mon–Thu and 6:00pm–11:00pm Fri.

Qualifications

• 3 months related experience in a warehouse or equivalent training/education
• Able to pass a drug screen where legally permissible
• Basic English language skills (verbal and written)
• 18 years or older
• Ability to lift/push/pull 70–100 pounds by hand
• Must wear safety composite shoes
• Able to work overtime beyond scheduled shift when needed
• Able to work at heights up to 60 feet or more

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, cherry pickers, turrets, or electric pallet jacks to pick products up to 100 lbs
• Move products within the warehouse while following safety procedures
• Perform general cleaning and basic maintenance duties as required
• Unloads trucks and palletizes products in Receiving/Putaway/Returns
• Assist with replenishment, returns processing, and shipping preparation
• Ensure accuracy of products and resolve discrepancies or damages with colleagues and contacts
