Job summary

Staples is hiring for a Warehouse Associate to join our World Class Supply Chain team. You may rotate through six crucial roles: bulk handling, porter, replenishment, receiving/putaway/returns, returns, and shipping, operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment as needed.

The position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and flexibility to support peak periods. Prior warehouse experience and a valid MHE cert are beneficial.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) months related experience in a warehouse environment; or any equivalent combination of acceptable training, education, and experience.
• Ability to pass a drug screen to the extent permissible legally.
• Basic English language skills (both verbal and written communications).
• If you are hired as a Full-Time associate, you must have the ability to work additional hours beyond scheduled shift; overtime hours may be required.
• Ability to work at heights up to 60 feet or more as needed.
• An ability to lift, push or pull boxes/merchandise weighing between 70 pounds and 100 pounds by hand.
• Must wear safety composite shoes.
• Ability to walk and stand 100% of the time.
• You must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment (forklifts, cherry pickers, turrets, or electric pallet jacks) to pick product up to 100 lbs and move within the warehouse.
• Perform general cleaning and basic maintenance as part of warehouse duties.
• Rotate through roles such as bulk/material handling, replenishment, receiving/putaway/returns, returns, accounting for safety.
• Unload trucks manually and palletize products where required.
• Assist with organizing, stacking, and shrink-wrapping customer orders for shipment.
• Ensure safety practices and follow Staples safety culture.
