Job summary

Staples is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our world class supply chain team in Portland. You may work in six areas including bulk/material handling, porter, replenishment, receiving/putaway/returns, returns, and shipping.

Shift is 6:00am-2:30pm, Monday-Friday. You will operate forklifts, pallet jacks and related equipment, lift up to 100 lbs, and uphold safety standards while delivering orders and supporting a fast-paced warehouse.

Qualifications

• Minimum three months related experience in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to pass a drug screen where legally permissible.
• Basic English language skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to work overtime if needed.
• Ability to lift 70–100 pounds by hand.
• Must wear safety shoes and stand/walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment ( forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.) to pick and move product up to 100 lbs.
• Perform warehouse tasks across six areas: Bulk, Porter, Replenishment, Receiving/Putaway/Returns, Returns, Shipping.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed and maintain a clean work area.
• Coordinate with teammates to resolve discrepancies and damages.
• Load/unload trucks and palletize products for shipping.
