Job summary

Viking Electric in Minneapolis is hiring a Warehouse Material Handler for the 2nd shift (1pm–9pm, Mon–Fri, OT as needed). Pay ranges from $22.50 to $26.00 per hour, with a full benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly, up to 75 lbs with assistance.
• Stand and walk for long periods during shift.
• Basic math skills (addition/subtraction).
• Willingness to learn forklift and handheld scanner (training provided).
• Work in varying warehouse temperatures.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks and move boxes using forklift and related equipment.
• Count, check and record items entering or leaving the warehouse.
• Use handheld scanner to track inventory levels.
• Assemble, package, label, stack, palletize and route material for delivery or storage.
• Help keep products safe and organized.
• Follow safety procedures to keep the warehouse secure.
