• Greet and check in clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism during evening and emergency hours (3pm–12am)
• Answer multi‑line phones, triage incoming calls, and direct urgent inquiries to appropriate veterinary staff.
• Schedule appointments, manage patient records, and maintain accurate client information in practice management software.
• Process payments, invoices, and end‑of‑shift financial transactions.
• Communicate effectively with veterinarians and technicians to ensure smooth patient flow.
• Assist with client education on post‑visit care instructions and follow‑up appointments.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk and lobby area.

Requirements:

• Prior veterinary receptionist or veterinary clinic experience strongly preferred.
• Availability to work evening shifts, 3pm–12am, including weekends and holidays.
• Proficiency with veterinary practice management software (e.g., V-tech, Avimark, Cornerstone, or similar).
• Strong multitasking and communication skills in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to remain calm and compassionate when handling emergency and emotionally sensitive situations.
• Basic understanding of veterinary terminology and common animal care practices.
• Reliable, punctual, and a true team player with a positive attitude.
