Qualifications

• Prior veterinary receptionist experience preferred.
• Evening shift availability 3pm–12am including weekends/holidays.
• Proficiency with veterinary practice management software (V-tech, Avimark, Cornerstone or similar).
• Strong multitasking and communication in a high-volume environment.
• Calm, compassionate handling of emergency situations.
• Basic veterinary terminology knowledge.
• Reliable, punctual team player with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism during evening and emergency hours (3pm–12am).
• Answer multi-line phones, triage calls, and direct urgent inquiries to staff.
• Schedule appointments, manage patient records, and maintain client information in practice management software.
• Process payments, invoices, and end-of-shift financial transactions.
• Communicate with veterinarians and technicians to ensure smooth patient flow.
• Assist with client education on post-visit care and follow-ups.
• Maintain a clean, organized front desk and lobby area.
